SPAM and virus-carrying email messages have been increasing in number and complexity. In order to provide a better email filtering service, Coon Valley Farmers Telephone Company is discontinuing its use of Postini and changing to a new email filtering solution called Junk Mail Manager. The transition will take place mid February. You’ll have until February 28, 2009 to review and retrieve any messages from your Postini account. We have been getting several calls that our customers are receiving emails from admin@mwt.net asking for their password. Do not send your password and login information to anyone. CVFTC and MWT will NEVER ask for your username and password.

Calls to U.S. Cellular and Alltel cell phones are now local calls. They can be dialed 7-digit like the rest of the numbers in your local calling area. Below is a list of the prefixes.

U.S Cellular: 608-317, 608-386, 608-606, 608-790, 608-792, 608-498-[0123578], 608-451-[23]
Alltel: 608-397, 608-406, 608-769, 608-780, 608-797, 608-799

If you are subscribed to our Digital Video Service and Caller ID Name & Number you will get the Caller ID information on your television whenever someone is calling.
