General Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble with your tv or internet service one of the first steps to take is to reboot the devices. Alot of the time the trouble with internet is from 3rd party routers. Try simply unplugging and plugging it back in. Also try unplugging and plugging the dsl modem.

Some of the common trouble with the televison service is the tv not being on channel 3 or the right input. Double check connections and make sure the tv is set on the right input.

Email

When setting up your email follow the instructions that come up with your email client, the only options you should need are the incoming and outgoing email servers.

Incoming mail server (pop3): mail.mwt.net
Outgoing mail server (smtp): mail.mwt.net

If you are using mwt email from another location such as a hotel or any place that is not a part of our network you will need to use their smtp server. Another way is to use webmail which you can log into at the top of the website on the home page.

Allways remember that MWT and Coon Valley Telephone will NEVER ask for your username and password by email.
